Automate data workflows
Data arrives.
The process keeps running.
We automate imports, exports and processing between applications, databases and file sources, with clear rules for validation, transformation and handover.
Discuss your projectThe starting point
The data exists.
So does the workaround.
Data comes from an application, a supplier source or a regular export. Before the next system can use it, values must be checked, fields mapped and formats adjusted. Doing this manually every time takes time, and small discrepancies can easily go unnoticed. We turn these steps into a repeatable process.
What we clarify together
- Determine sources, destination systems and processing triggers
- Map fields, character sets, numbers and dates appropriately
- Check required fields, duplicates and implausible values
- Deliver approved records using the appropriate method
- Present errors and processing results clearly
One possible scenario
One data delivery. One controlled import.
A supplier source delivers product data daily through SFTP. Datenquelle checks product numbers, standardizes values and passes approved records to the ERP. Unclear entries are held for clarification. The process is independent of whether the agreed source delivers XML, text, CSV or Excel.
Illustrative example; no claim of an already delivered customer project.
For technical assessment
The technology follows
the task.
We evaluate these approaches according to your data and your systems' capabilities.
Applications and databases
Retrieve data through existing APIs or approved SQL/ODBC access. Keys, data structures and system boundaries determine the process.
Files and SFTP
Process JSON, XML, text and log files, CSV and Excel from an agreed export or transfer method. Format, origin and previously processed deliveries remain unambiguous.
Validation and retries
Apply business rules before handover. Logs make errors visible; agreed retries prevent an interrupted connection from causing uncontrolled duplicate entries.
Before we start
Good to know.
Your specific starting point determines the right solution path.
How can data be imported automatically?
First, the source, destination and trigger are defined. We then specify mappings, checks and the supported delivery method. An API request, database access or a new file can trigger the process.
Can Excel and CSV also be processed automatically?
Yes, if the file structure and destination are agreed. We explicitly address worksheets, delimiters, number formats and keys. CSV and Excel are two possible sources alongside other files, APIs and databases.
What happens if a data delivery does not match the expected structure?
Required fields and agreed formats are checked. For relevant discrepancies, the process stops or holds affected records. The correct business behavior is defined before implementation.
Can machine or process data be included?
If an approved interface, database or suitable export exists, this data can be included in the process. The vendor, permissions, data rate and operational requirements determine the possibilities.
How can we tell whether processing succeeded?
Results and errors are logged transparently. Depending on the project, a status, summary or feedback to the responsible team can be provided. The specific format is agreed.

A few brief details are enough
Which manual step keeps repeating?
A brief look at your workflow is enough to get started. Together, we identify what can be automated.
